MATCHA GREEN TEA CHOCOLATE BAR

Hello MONDAY!

Back to the routine after the weekend!

This morning I was craving some chocolate and I was going to make myself a Matcha green tea... so instead I tried to make a chocolate bar with Matcha in it…because, chocolate!

MATCHA CHOCOLATE BAR

I love to make my own desserts but chocolate bars are indeed one of my favorites!! They are so easy to make and they’re the perfect snack to have around to satisfy your daily craving and be able to stay on track of your healthy eating daily routine!

Specially after the weekend when eating too much and having too much sweets can happen, having a home made dark chocolate bar around is key!

HEALTHY GREEN TEA MATCHA CHOCOLATE

DIABETIC DIET TIP

This is a great option for a daily dessert or snack! It is made with pure cacao powder and coconut oil. It has a touch of white chocolate-green tea Matcha and chocolate protein powder.

The only sugar content here is the few white chocolate chips mixed with the Matcha green tea powder.

This healthy chocolate bar option won’t spike your sugar levels like the regular chocolate options will do. However, be careful if you add white chocolate or any other ingredient that elevates the sugar content. So be sure to have stable blood glucose levels between 80-100 mg/dL :)

Just as with everything, moderation is key and you get to enjoy every bit of it!
